For proper treatment of the water, it is important that you know the volume of your swimming pool.  By filling in the details below, you can calculate the volume of your pool. If the pool is not uniformly deep, you should fill in the average depth. One cubic metre equals one-thousand litres of water.

Alternatively, the instruction manual supplied with your pool should indicate the amount of water your pool holds.

Examples of popular pools are listed below.
Inflatable Round Pool
Width                Depth                 Volume of water              Initial dosage

8 feet                76.2 cm                2,150 litres                     6 tablets
12 feet              76.2 cm                5,100 litres                    15 tablets
15 feet           106.98 cm                9,500 litres                    27 tablets
Conversion 1 inch = 2.54 centimetres

Once this information is known it is possible to give your pool the correct initial dosage.  The initial dosage is 3 tablets per 1000 litres of water.
